OT Pat McQuistan signed with the Saints; he was released by Tennessee in September.

Released by Tennessee? Doesn't sound too promising...

Hopefully the guy NEVER has to step on the field

The Saints have shown that they can "coach up" castoff players.

Tennessee has been doing a very fine job of protecting Hasslebeck so maybe this isn't such a bad sign that we pick up one of their discards.

I thought Tennessee had built an excellent O-line.

When you join the World Champion New Orleans Saints, from the AFC, that's an automatic "Coach-up"!

If he can give Ingram another 6 inches, we may have something. I'm not asking for a train tunnel, just a hole wide enough for the numbers 2 and 8 to fit through.

There's got to be something about him that makes the staff pick him over ALL of our cuts, that at least, had a peek at the playbook in camp, and ALL the other vets around the league that are waiting by the phone. I trust that they see something better here than we can.

Word - Until CJs recent problems that line was fantastic. So this guy could be a good player & was cut because of needs in other areas.

Hopefully getting to play on a team that has a legitimate shot at going back to the Super Bowl this year may give him some added motivation.
