And now my new mantra, soon to be signature: If he stays healthy! |

It also helps that he's finally getting a few holes. It seemed like the 1st two games he was hit right after getting the handoff. I think he'll be a great one because he has a heart like Deuce, a solid committment to the weight room, and a fierce desire to help his team win any way he can. Barring serious injury, I can't see him not succeeding. |
Love his power and balance. Vision isn't there yet but once he gets fully acclimated, that should come. He has a bright future.
My Bush jersey has already been replace... with number 28. |

He is a rook...more of this to come in the future...the line was also blocking better...

Ingram is the back we've been needing...the guy is a pure NFL running back. We're going to enjoy watching him do his thing for years.
|
Here's my take: the guy's a rookie and it's a new day in the NFL. With the exception of a few teams like Minnesota, most teams are going to a model where a few quality backs will share carries. We've got three distinctly different style of runners in PT, Sproles, and Ingram. I think Ingram brings some really good qualities and will probably get to see more carries as he adjusts to the NFL game. I'm pleased by what I've seen from him so far.

No matter who you are - Undrafted free agent or Heisman winning college athlete, this is the NFL and it takes some time to get acclimated.
Mark Ingram is doing just fine, yeah he initially needs to read his blocks better but its been 3 games. I agree that his TD against Houston showed what he can do on the big stage, there is plenty more of that to come! The guy will be great, everyone knows this, he has the right mentality and wants to learn, that is how you become great |
