this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Uh-oh. I think the Saints will now use a fairly high draft pick on a running back. Look for Greg Jones with 2-b or a Cedrick Cobbs with a 3. No way they go into 2004 with a possible holdout ...

Uh-oh. I think the Saints will now use a fairly high draft pick on a running back.
Look for Greg Jones with 2-b or a Cedrick Cobbs with a 3. No way they go into 2004 with a possible holdout at our thinnest position. Deuce has held out before. There\'s nothing to say he won\'t again. A quality back-up (or two) reduces his agents bargaining power. |
