Because, as those in the chat room today are already aware, this game was all but lost until we broke out the Hamina and put that bad 'ol gris gris on the Panthers.

Yay Y'all!!! I wish I coulda been in the chat room with ya but I was doing good just to be able to watch the game at all. I ended up watching it in a cheesy casino on a TV with no sound and closed captioning. Which by the way is terrible, its like these people have never seen a football gamein their entire lives with some of the horrible mispelling of football terms and such. oh well, at least I got to see it.

As you may know, our Houston bunch watches em together at Ragin Cajujn on Westheimer. Well when we fell behind, you could see the
"mojo postures" kick into high gear. I, personally found this spot to
stand, and of course, you gotta stand in a certain position, so there
I stayed until "Drew to PT" put us ahead.

The Curse may be gone, but we're still Very Superstitious.

Who is Haminana?

The Hamina is not a who. It is more of a what. It's kinda like the Force in that it is something like an energy field, created by all living things, that surrounds and penetrates living beings and binds the galaxy together.

BUT...

The Hamina, when used properly by fans, offers a way to control the outcome of sports contests. It must be used wisely, and is better when used by multiple people simultaneously to achieve a specific outcome.

Put differently, the Hamina is not gris gris. The Hamina is used to control gris gris, both positive and negative, thus it has value on both offense and defense.

I opened up a Dos Equis. Put the X's on the Panthers. I guess I'll have to do that the rest of the season. It's a sacrifice, but I'm a team player. LOL.

I was under the impression that Hamina was what the other team starts doing when we get rolling........they begin to stutter while their brain tries to catch up. Either way is fine with me. All hail the Hamina!!!
