Had on my t-shirt from 2000 that I used to wear under my Aaron Brooks jersey. Brees played like Brooks today :( But in my defense, I did where it a couple time during the Superbowl year, and we won all of those games - including the Superbowl itself. But I guess the ghost of Brooks is back. I'll be putting this tee away for the rest of the season, unless one of you know a good exorcist.

I know it wasn't mine I tried everything I could thing of even switching Saints ball caps and turning them around. CRAP!!! Maybe it was mine to I didn't wear my Saints Sweat Shirt.

Ha! I also failed to wear my lucky Saints jersey and put on a Saints t-shirt I had from around 2004 or so. I'll take my share of the blame.

Thanks for sharing the blame. I need a new jersey. Although my past jerseys were Ricky Williams, Aaron Brooks, and Reggie Bush. Rickey Jackson was the only one I got some longevity out of. Maybe I need to go throwback this time - Pat Swilling or Morten Andersen.

I'm not taking ANY of the blame for that crap I saw on the field today. None of it! It's it's all on the Defense...oh, and the offense...aaaannnd the special teams...and the coaching!

I forgot to wear my Saints beads. I wear them every Sunday, and I ran out of the house in such a rush, I forgot to grab them. Stupid superstitions.

I started a "predict the score" thread.

I also had a gig, and missed the first quarter. Even though we were winning in the 1st, you need for me to see the entire game.

I sent a trash-talk email to all my NFC South buddies. I NEVER do that...

I left to do "girlfriend" duty with my wife during the critical 4th quarter comeback. Without me screaming "don't throw an INT!!!", Brees forgot what he was supposed to do. You all know I channel his frequency during games...

I did everything I could, but I was sitting in a bar next to a really NEGATIVE dude who was just a total downer the entire time -- bringing everybody around him in earshot down, with that "OLD SAINTS" negative mojo. I shoulda watched it someplace else

I swapped caps, changed seats, stood up by the big screen, stood up in front of the big screen........I should have changed shirts. Also, I didn't grill out like I usually do. I just couldn't find my mojo and they couldn't either.

I said to "kill it, " and they did! thanks mods!oh, I hate that. I understand it, because I'll go off rambling to myself sometimes... damn this... stupid that... but my wife reminds me that no one else wants to share the misery... And normally, Im a positive type anyway. We sit in front of a guy in the Dome, we call Negative Boy. He just drives us nuts with constant negative drivel, and again, I think I probably did the same thing in my youth, perhaps thinking it would
work in some preventative way... as if maybe me saying, "Whew, we got em now," would cause a complete breakdown.

Anyway, lets just enjoy it. Jump up and down, yell, raise hell, wear our
Saint stuff, hang with other people wearing Saints stuff, drink beer, eat good food, and enjoy every minute of it. Being worried isnt going to change the outcome of anything. The gris-gris is fun, and I love all the
pre-game traditions, but #1-- Forget It! Im gonna have fun!
