When you go through the grind of football for 13 years, especially in the trenches, you are bound to lose some of your desire to play. I know a lot of people are going to argue that he's make a lot of money to have fun or whatever, and quitting isn't being a team player or whatever, but really sometimes doing whats best for the team is doing whats best for yourself. Now someone that is more vibrant and willing can step in.
