Looking at the rest of the Saints schedule,
and the December 11th game against Tennessee is our only remaining outdoor game the rest of the regular season.

Nice

If we bring our A-game every week, we'll be favored in every one of them, probably even the @Atlanta game.
11-5 is looking likely. 12-4 is looking quite possible. |
Saints need to continue winning to keep the pressure on the Packers.
I don't want the Saints to have to play in Lambeau in January to get to the Super Bowl. |

I really would have liked that Bucs game to have remained 1 back of GB.
Just knowing we were there in their rear view mirror would mess with their psyche. Getting ahead of teams puts us in great shape to get 12 wins. Our defense seems to play much better when other teams try to go out on a limb. I can't stand those 4th quarter, last drive of the game, TD to win by 2. Just makes me sick. I loved last nights snoozer. That was excellent! |
The Bucs showed again yesterday that beating us was a fluke. Unless Green Bay gets beat before the NFC, we are heading to play in the snow in January. Green Bays schedule is cake the rest of the way(for them), even if they split with Detroit.
|
Nothing really changed this weekend. We must win next 3 games going into the bye or we will not be in control of our destiny.

One game at a time - we overlooked TB I think & paid for it. I Hope it was a lesson learned.
BUT we did screw them like a 2 dollar hooker on a Saturday night!! :hump: |
There is no way the Packers go undefeated this season. Sorry. Look, I'll be the first to say that Aaron Rogers is on fire. But he is also ****y and arrogent. He'll get his medicine.

Giants are the only team I know that went in their in winter and won... Maybe Eli could do his hometown a favor in the divisional playoffs... |
I think GB loses against the Giants and once against the Lions. Unfortunately, we're two games down right now for home field advantage. We need to stay perfect just in case GB lays three eggs.

For instance, lets say the Saints, Packers, and Giants all end up 13-3... Packers beat the Saints. Saints beat the Giants. Giants beat the Packers. Head-to-head is now meaningless, on to the next tie-breaker. |
The Pack are looking really good. I don't think they are going undefeated, but I think they will end up like 14-2 (or maybe 13-3 if they have everything locked up early and let a late game get away b/c they don't have their first string in). So it is going to be really tough for the Saints to get home field advantage.
I like the idea of someone else (like the Giants) knocking the Pack out in the playoffs, then the Saints beat that team |
I want the Slackers to lose every game, you really don't know what it's like to listen to these idiots up here. Need help with what sanity I have left. S.O.S.

I love the thought of the Saints traveling to GB and knocking them out of the Championship game...rather do it at home, but oh how sweet it would be to do it up there.
|
The scary thing about the Packers is they haven't put together a complete game yet and just keep winning. Their best game was probably against us. I realistically hope for the #2 seed and a little playoff help with the Packers. If we have to play in the snow, whoever runs better that day goes to Indy, and we have a great chance at that this year. Long way to go however......
|
I wish the Saints had a more experience playing in cold weather.
