ONE Minor Complaint:

That was a great game. I was so proud of these guys I felt like I was watching the Superbowl all over again.

I wish Drew would have gotten his record extended with over 350 yards. That was rude. It would only have taken a couple plays. Thought I saw some disappointment in his gaze once he was benched.

We, as a fan-board, deserved that. Really.

Congratulations, BlackandGold.com!!!

The only minor complaint you could make about the Saints win was Delone Carter gashing them for 89 yds on just 10 carries...

HA I been waiting for someone to point that out. We gave up some big run plays all to the outside towards our DE's and OLB's.

Missed tackles, AGAIN! That was my only complaint.
He should have ended up with just 40 something yards.
Wind sprints and gorilla drills for everybody until we get this thing under control.
Chase just handed the ball off when he got in there. They had put it in the mail at that point.
There were too many short drives. Five TD's and still not to 350.

Yeah it's not Drew's fault the Colts suck. Why should he be denied the 350 yards?

FLuke stupid crap happens all the time & Drew knows that.

DO you really think that if Drew had wanted to break that record they woud not have left him in...?

Drew agreed to come out, no question.

One thing that stood out to me from Drew's book was his "Never let your backup see the field" mentality.
He's a competitor, and doesn't like being removed from the game, for Any reason.

So, yeah, I'm sure he was a little disappointed that he was taken out of the game, but there was really no point at all for him to stay in. Heck, I thought he should not have gotten back on the field to start the second half.

I could care less about records. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is getting to the SB. Besides, with the rule changes the stats are seriously flawed. Sit as many starters as you can if given the opportunity and live to fight another day. Ingram didn't have to jump over a couple of players to gain more yards. Now he's hurt. There is way too much footaball left to play. Maybe he'll be fine but I hope the Saints from here on out get into an auto pilot mode if the game is well at hand.
