Drew Brees has a game to forget as Rams beat Saints
Drew Brees had been all but unstoppable for the Saints this season. Who knew the St. Louis Rams would be the team to stop him?
The Rams’ defense got pressure in Brees’s face all day and frustrated him into costly mistakes as St. Louis pulled off one of the most surprising upsets of this NFL season, beating the Saints 31-21. Brees’s game-clinching mistake was a pass into coverage that Rams defensive back Darian Stewart intercepted and ran back 27 yards for a touchdown, giving the Rams a 31-14 lead with three minutes left in the fourth quarter. That sealed an uncharacteristically lousy game for the Saints’ offense, and it changed the way we’ll think about both teams going forward. For the Rams, their first win of the season means they’re no longer among the front runners for the first overall pick in the draft — the winless Colts and winless Dolphins will duke it out for that honor. For the Saints, it’s now clear that this high-powered offense can be stopped, especially when the front four can get pressure on Brees. Rams defensive end Chris Long frustrated Brees all day and sacked him three times, and you can bet every team that plays the Saints the rest of the year will be looking to get the same kind of pressure on Brees. I don't think he is going to forget this game for a long time! :(

Chris Long should be arrested after that performance.

Lets hope so! If he does then the Bucs should be very worried!!!!!

But yet its the Ds fault we lost...

Someone needs to tell Brees that Graham is good, but not 'throw into quadrupal-coverage good'. We have other playmakers at WR and that is getting old.

True ..but a lot of that came after they had the lead..and were trying to milk the clock..not saying he isnt a beast...he does this to everyone...the real question is ..why didnt we run the ball more? |
It didn't seem like we had any game plan what-so-ever for Jackson. Their biggest play maker, and I don't know how many times I seen him wide open, with no Saint player within a mile of him. You don't leave that guy alone, for a second. The entire Saints offense, seemed as if they were asleep. Just going through the motions. The o-line has to take this one on the chin. They looked terrible out there today.

I seriously doubt we beat the bucs next week and if we do it'll be because of the fans in the dome. This team doesn't deserve the fans they have playing like this ****.
