Greg Romeus practicing
I really like this guy
NOLA.com : New Orleans Saints defensive end Greg Romeus will make practice debut Wednesday |
Yea, me too. Would be great to have him the last four games of the season if not sooner.
|
I'd love to see him play but I don't think he will see the field this year.
|
My guess is that he gets the full 3 weeks practicing and then goes to IR.
Of course, if he could play OLB I'd start him tomorrow |
Let "The Monster" heal. Next year we will get to see him. I love that we drafted him, one he!! of a player. Mean!!!

Exactly. But - to my understanding - the Saints drafted him for next season and the ones after that. There's no reason to try and rush his recovery plans, which could jeopardize his availability for next season and even his career. My hope is that he'll be a monster next season, which will allow the Saints to trade Will Smith and his big-a$$ contract for a star OLB for next season or just trade him for future draft picks and invest the contract money towards locking up Brees and Nicks. I can just see it... Jordan and Romeus as the starting DEs. |
Looks like Galette..

If hes ready to go, why wait "til next year"? If hes good to go, hes good to go.... I will let the coaches decide....
|
Damn - I would like to see him this year too!! How tall is he??
|
6'5 6'7?...i have seen both... 267 to 289?...this dude is a mystery ...

How about a sweatshirt for Christmas? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_B57MpmY8gA...18qm0a_400.jpg Also, I wouldn't be against seeing Romeus play this season, but I would like to err on the side of caution, since that ACL injury he had was pretty serious and I would hate to see him get re-injured because he "seemed' like ready to play this season. |
