Exactly. But - to my understanding - the Saints drafted him for next season and the ones after that. There's no reason to try and rush his recovery plans, which could jeopardize his availability for next season and even his career. My hope is that he'll be a monster next season, which will allow the Saints to trade Will Smith and his big-a$$ contract for a star OLB for next season or just trade him for future draft picks and invest the contract money towards locking up Brees and Nicks. I can just see it... Jordan and Romeus as the starting DEs. ![]() |

My guess is that he gets the full 3 weeks practicing and then goes to IR.
Of course, if he could play OLB I'd start him tomorrow |
