this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Given all the time he had off, I don't think this is much of a surprise. Plus, the Saints always keep injury news close to the vest, so the injury itself may not be quite as bad as we think ...

Given all the time he had off, I don't think this is much of a surprise. Plus, the Saints always keep injury news close to the vest, so the injury itself may not be quite as bad as we think it is. Payton is extremely cautious in letting players come back from injury.
In any case, let's hear it for one of the best backfields in the NFL! We are now the 9th ranked rushing attack and I believe we have the most talented backfield we have ever had in New Orleans. |
