Broncos need a RB

Should the Saints consider trading someone? We talked about this earlier in the season, and we could definately use the draft pick, or picks. What do u guys think?

strato 11-14-2011 04:32 PM

Who would you trade?..i want to see more of Ingram production wise before i would trade anybody...

alleycat_126 11-14-2011 04:34 PM

More importantly who would we get in return!!!! Dumervil im in anybody else I say no

SaintPauly 11-14-2011 04:36 PM

Not Sproles of course, but maybe Ivory. Dont get me wrong Ivory is awesome, but he seems to be hurt alot. Ingram, i think will be the feature back soon, so it would have to be thomas or ivory..... Tough choice..... But its possible to get a player, plus a pick for either. Not a first, but a 2nd or 3rd....

strato 11-14-2011 04:40 PM

Well forget P.T he is not going anywhere...and if Ivory is hurt all the time how would he help them..lol..just sayin...Ingram needs to step up big time before i let Ivory or P.T walk..

halloween 65 11-14-2011 04:42 PM

Not 1 of them we are going to need them all before this season is over.

papz 11-14-2011 04:44 PM

McGahee is fine and Ball is an adequate backup. They're not going to give up much for someone that would be third on their depth chart. I'm also not interested in trading away any of our picks for a low round draft choice... I rather maintain our depth at the position. It's the NFL, disaster is only an injury away.

dizzle88 11-14-2011 04:51 PM

What about Joique Bell, he's on our practice squad. We could get something if we traded him

WhoDat!656 11-14-2011 04:54 PM

Isnt the trade deadline over?

papz 11-14-2011 04:54 PM

I'm not 100% certain, but if they wanted Bell, they could just sign him away with no compensation.

Halo 11-14-2011 04:55 PM

WE NEED TO HAVE ALL HANDS ON DECK going into the playoffs. Last year's playoff run was a train wreck! How can you guys forget?

We walked into the playoffs with inexperienced backs we picked up last minute to complement Reggie. When we needed muscle against the Seahawks we just didn't have it!!!

halloween 65 11-14-2011 05:00 PM

Your right Papz they can take him, thats how we got him. I hope no one picks him up, we will lose a good one.

If they wanted him, they could sign him from our practice squad without a trade...

Personally, I haven't forgotten how we ran out of running backs at the end of last season...

SaintPauly 11-14-2011 05:32 PM

Ok guys.... Dont have an anobolism, it was just a question... :)

saintfan 11-14-2011 05:40 PM

At the end of the year:

Ivory is gone. I'll hate it, but it'll be the best thing for his career.

Bell will fill that roster spot. Y'all don't believe me? Hide and watch.

IF and I mean IF we lost one of our top 4 RB's, its probably Glass Ivory.

Tebow!
Tebow!
Tebow!
Tebow!

I dont think Ivory has anything to worry about..Ingram is no threat right now..Ivory will catch him in 2 games...at Ingrams current pace

93 att

340 yards...yikes...

He has almost as many rushing yards as our so called Stud back..pathetic..

48 atts

and 320 yards...that should not be happening..

He also has 4 fumbles. That's more than Brees and all our RBs combined.

Barry from MS 11-14-2011 06:11 PM

Trade with Broncos? Can we go GW for John Fox? GW will become HC for Denver and Fox becomes our DC. Does trade deadline count for coaches? I'm just tired of watching our secondary and linebackers out of place with ZERO pass rush from our front four. Will Smith for Elvis? GW for Fox & Will for Elvis. Oh, and Shanle for Von Miller, while we're at it.

But you see the point here...q goofy QB that has started wht 5 games has almost as much rushing...that dont add up...lol i dont think he got those fumbles rushing ..but rather when he was dropping back...

also if he has that many yards why would they want one of our backs...

yep, they sure could.

ChrisXVI 11-14-2011 07:16 PM

I'm pretty sure Denver will be way better off just drafting Trent Richardson in this next draft.

subguy 11-14-2011 07:39 PM

We wouldn't let anyone go at this point...I think it is moot

AlaskaSaints 11-14-2011 08:15 PM

Note to self:

Spoon-feed Ivory's success to Danno as the season progresses.

LOL

Alaska

Budsdrinker 11-14-2011 09:31 PM

Trade deadline has passed so nothing can be done this year. Bell can be taken from the practice squad as long as Denver signs him to the active roster.

Why? I think he has all-pro talent and said so many many times.

Not sure I follow what you're saying.

Rugby Saint II 11-15-2011 11:20 AM

Sproles is our best back, then PT then Ingram, then Ivory and then Bell.
I truly believe that Ingram will become the back we all thought he'd be, fortunately we've got time to bring him along. We have a plethora of backs. PT is still giving us the hard yards but needs more carries to get his rhythm. Payton is going to show case each and every one of them this year.
Starting next year we will be taking all kinds of calls for trade deals I would imagine.

Mardigras9 11-15-2011 02:12 PM

Didn't you guys listen to the Coaches show? Bobby said Tebow can win just completing two passes a game because of devine intervention. The man is on his side, he doesn't need a running game......lol.

homerj07 11-16-2011 06:46 PM

No (that was easy!!)

Marlboro Man 11-19-2011 05:54 PM

I'd trade Ingram, but if not for Dumerville and a pick, then a 1st & a 2nd.
