Looking forward: GIANTS
Do we GOT this?
Would some of you sharp, informed statisticians lay it out for me, please. Will it be an aspirin, Xanax or personal AED night? Alaska |
Giants have a good pass rush, they have many DE's that would easily start on most teams.
The need for balance is critical, it will slow down the pass rush and let us control the pace of the game. Eli manning will force some bad throws so we need to take advantage of every slight mistake and turn it into a big play for us! We can't go into this game thinking it will easy, we all know what happens! One more thing - just before the game when the cameras look at drew, take a look at his face, it will tell you if he's angry/focused, then he's in for a big game |
I look for Loomis to make a trade for one of their DEs. They could use Chris Ivory.
But, on to the game... Dallas will lose to Washington this week so the Gee-ants will play soft. Regardless, Sean Payton will use the bye week to dom-in-ate them. Saints 34 Giants 20 |
Tough game - we need to be balanced & dominant in front of a national audience
|
Protect Brees is the mission.
|
I'm watching the NY Phi game. It's halftime, so still early.
BUT, the Iggles receivers are SHREDDING the NY secondary. If we can protect #9, we will win by three touchdowns. |
Yeah the Giants can't stop a rusty V.Y...im feeling confident..Iggles little d-Line stuffed a 250 pound Jacobs..we should dominate!
Should i feel confident? Now granted this is at the half..lol |
Weatherford looks awesome.
I guess that is something positive for them.......... |
From the looks of this game so far....our O-line has the biggest job...
|
It's going to take a lot of pressure on Manning for him not to have a good night. There front 7 is good on the D, our O-line had better show up and play well, I don't want Brees killed. I think with enough protection Brees will slowly pick them apart. If we can get our run game started we should be o.k., if not it's going to be a long night. I don't see a blowout in this one Saints by 7 or less.
|
It will be a dogfight. Coughlin will abuse his team this week after this embarrassing loss. I do not see winning easily but it will be a win. Eagles definitely exposed their weaknesses.
|
LOL...go V.Y...and Cooper...that was funny as ****..
Giants blow |
Saints 6.5 point favs as of right now
|
All going to depend on what we've been doing for 15 days. Either way, it's the home stretch and we are rested. Best possible time for a bye, but I hope our team is stretching and running sprints as I write this.
Our 12th man - the crowd - needs to show up LOUD. Their 12th man - the ref's - need to speak only when spoken to and run the clock. I hate rooting for the Eagles, but was happy to tonight. DeShawn Jackson needs to be B**** slapped for his shat behavior. Alaska |
Eagles beat em and didn't even have a real QB or a decent receiving group on the field, if we don't go out there and destroy Giants i think we are a true pretender team.

We are more talented than most every other team. Hopefully, we have hit our stride and will win out. I believe we will. |

I have us going 5-1 regular season from here out....this one worries me. I know we can win it. The Giants are a team that you never know which one will show. We will need to establish the run. I do not think for a minute their secondary will look as crappy as they are against the Eagles.
|
Just my opinion, but I think, because they lost, we are getting everything they have next Monday. The good thing is we are home and it is on Monday night. The team has to be pumped and rested coming into this one. We generally play really well on national games at home. I think we are better than them, but you just never know. You have to figure them losing this past week makes them somewhat desperate.

We win by at least 21 pts.
We will have 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery. Our identity will be established. |
We are always pumped up for Nationally televised game especially at home. The pressure will be on us to win to stay ahead of the Failclowns but can't see us losing to the Giants at home.
|
The Giants have no idea who they are as a football team... one of the most inconsistent yet most talented teams in the league. Injuries haven't helped as their linebacking corps have been decimated by injuries and they've also been nicked up at tailback, WR, and along the offensive line. Their secondary has a lot of big name athletic guys who show up one week and disappear the next. While on paper we play the Giants next week, no one including themselves can be sure which team actually shows up.
Regardless, we play at home next week and as long as we play Saints football, our well rested football team should be able to cotinue the Giants down slide into mediocrity. The Giants will wish they had a bye next week. |
