Last I checked we were #3 behind Green Bay and San Fran. I think their records put them 1 and 2.

Beg to disagree, but the STACK is actually forming BELOW us, not above us...there are a lot of teams this year with 3 and 4 and 5 losses, particularly in the NFC, and none of those teams have the explosive offensive potential that the Saints do, none of them have the proven weapons and the talent. Many don't have the depth, or the proven ability to win under adversity, either. Now in the next few games the Saints will have to differentiate themselves from the STACK, and they are extremely fortunate that 3 of those games will be in prime time at home, when our team is proven to be able to turn on the dazzle and really shine...they really do look like a different team in prime time....but ignoring meaningless power rankings, in terms of who looks "elite" or "poised for the run" or in measures like points or total offense or TD's, it's really basically Packers, Saints, then the Lions, 49ers and all the others on down from there....they're the ones who are the STACK, not us.

Stuff the rankings

Power Rankings are a nice thing to look at but we all know they are driven by whos in the big tv markets. And yeah Cowherd needs to be put out to pasture, I much prefer Dino Costas to him and I'm not a huge fan of his. But at least Costas puts his real feelings out there w/o trying to be pc.

Last I saw the only 2 teams ahead of us were GB & SF and that is how it should be

Like everyone said, it's a new season after the bye. Either we can play to win or we can't. There's going to be no room for "oh, we didn't need that game anyway" as in the past.

There are more people in New York, Philadelphia, WashingtonDC/Baltimore Markets so media which derives its income from same are going to pander to these teams that are popular there...

So it is killing them, like LSU's success at the NCAA level, that New Orleans small market is in it...
