Willie Roaf one of 26 finalists for Pro Football Hall of Fame
METAIRIE, La. ― Former Saints offensive lineman Willie Roaf is one of 26 semi-finalists for the Hall of Fame, the NFL announced Tuesday afternoon.

In Football you don't go into the hall of fame as a member of a team, you go in as a hall of fame player at the postition that happened to play for team xyz when you were in the league. NFL is a complete 180 from baseball

good luck Willie - I wished at the time - as I do now - that we had given you some symbolic deal which would have had you retire as a Saint. Thanks for the memories - especially our first playoff victory in franchise history.
