I love it. Under the radar again and this team may be set up for a long run.

Thats probably true for terrestrial radio but I have Sirius satelite radio and everyone on the NFL channel was praising Drew, the Saints and how well they played . Very little of it was about how bad the gnats played and they did a fabulous montage of saint's music and play calls from the radio feed of the game. Pat Kirwan was even echoing my own thoughts today saying that he believes the saints are the only team that could go punch for punch with the Packers. Even though the Jaguar's news, Suh's news overshadowed us during the Sirius Blitz, they did take the time to recognize what the Saint's did in their final hour of the show.

I dont know. I listened to Rome, and he was all over Drew's dunk, but
instead of making fun of it, he just made Drew's explanation out to be
further proof that Drew is The Man.

Driving thru Houston, you're stuck listening to Texans woes. I really think
local sportsradio has no clue how many Saints fans there are here.

I agree I'm in Austin and everything hear is Dallas Cowboys or UT but they know any WHODAT dat rolls through any establishment in the area

BY the time I got home it was mostly about Suh or del Rio with the Saints coming in a distant 3rd.

Can't stand Rome!! I listened to some of that on the way to a lunch meeting yesterday. That guy has to be the most annoying sports talk guy I've ever heard.

Every time I hear him, I just think of the Rome - Everett interview, then I'm happy!

I did hear on one national show on Sirius that we are the only team that "might" be able to give the Packers a run. If we shut down Detroit we'll hear more.

I am working in Minnesota for a few weeks and a local sports radio show today said the Saints are the only team that could go into Lambeau and beat the Packers!!

They pointed out that the Saints were the only team to be close to beating the Packers at the end of their game.

Any way you carve it New Orleans is a small market. NYC is well - as big as it gets.

It is natural that's the way it plays out on terrestrial radio outside the red neck riviera.

But I am impressed with Sirius radio. They do a very good job at spreading the topics. (though even they too will favor the larger market teams)

What do they call it... oh yea... capitalism.

He is pretty obnoxious. Everett stopped too soon. He should have punched him. Sportstalk guys should see what an injury
feels like.

That never gets old! Was my first exposure to Jim Rome. I know a lot of people don't like him much, but I love the guy, wish we got his radio show in La.

That was staged...and who cares if we get press now..the ratings showed were on everyone's radar...breaking records left and right..
