DETROIT - Ndamukong Suh's has lost his appeal of his two-game suspension for stomping an opponent during the Thanksgiving Day game against the Green Bay Packers.
Art Shell, appointed jointly by the league and the players' association for such cases, heard the appeal on Thursday by the Detroit Lions defensive tackle.
Suh stomped on Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith during the game in Detroit and was ejected. On Tuesday, he was suspended for two games, but invoked his right to appeal.
Suh will miss Sunday's game at New Orleans and the Lions' Dec. 11 home game against Minnesota.

It's ashame it's only two games. If I had to make that decision, he would have been suspended for at least the rest of the season, plus any post-season the Lions may have. Maybe even longer.

I wonder when he met with Goddell what was said. Whatever he told Suh it went in one ear and out the other. Can you imagine if Goddell was the commish. when Too Tall Jones and that era played, those guys would have had to play for free. Suh is a sissy when it comes to those guys. 2 games is enough. Maybe it will open his eyes, maybe not.

I heard on ESPN that decision won't be made till Friday.

I just saw in espn that a decision has not been made and that there is no timetable for a decision.

I said this before -- my hunch is that it's gonna be sorta like the thing with Brian Urlacher in the Bears game after his mom died -- speculation all week, then at the last minute he shows up and plays. I think they'll let Suh play, deciding it at the last minute, and he will be emotionally very pumped up and show-boaty, but basically ineffective on the field because of lack of practice and preparation.

The NFL and Rodger Goodell havn't got a hair on their Tu-Tu wearing a**es if the let this thug play on Sunday. If they let him play, it's all about the money and the large audience they can draw to such a controversial game. Then, the officials will be throwing a flag everytime someone looks crosseyed at someone else. If they let Suh play, it will be a ****** up game and one big distraction for us. Let's face it, if the girls at the NFL let this punk play on Sunday, we're screwed.

1- I kind of wished he would play to see how good our offensive line is. He's suppose to be one of the better pass rushers. Our O-Line has not let Drew get sacked last 2 games. It would of been a good measuring stick.
2-He isn't going to be there so maybe that helps us put up a W.

No one has ever been suspended for more than 5 (Haynsworth) & his was worse, so... 2 or 3.

well they're obviously a bunch of dumazzes, judging by the penalties
they incurred, but Suh's absence helped ensure that Drew stood upright
and torched them.

Sounds like this guy really is need of anger management.
