Detroit Lions offense hopes to make New Orleans Saints defense pay for overaggressive play
ALLEN PARK - When those Saints go marching in this Sunday, the Lions had better have another set of eyes on offense because Gregg Williams could be blitzing a whole slew of defenders.
The New Orleans defensive coordinator is known for having one of the most aggressive defenses in the NFL, bringing different players from different players at nearly any moment in the game, as the New York Giants found out in a 49-24 loss to the Saints on Monday Night Football "That Monday Night game, they were blitzing," said Lions left guard Rob Sims. "It didn't matter from where, what time of the game - it just didn't matter. They were stretching everything and anything. "We've got our plan going into it and how we want to attack it, just like we always do. We're usually pretty good with blitzes; we're pretty good at picking stuff up. But there are some challenges this week, for sure." Full article. Detroit Lions offense hopes to make New Orleans Saints defense pay for overaggressive play | MLive.com |
Hopefully GW KNOWS this already & takes it to heart & comes up with some inventive ways of stopping the Kittens!

I wonder if lions taste like chicken

The question is: Can their defense keep up with our offense?
and when you answer that, ask yourself: Can their offense match point to point with ours? |
