Updating an earlier report, Baltimore Ravens RB Jamal Lewis was indicted Wednesday, Feb. 25, by a federal grand jury in Atlanta on drug conspiracy charges. Lewis is accused of conspiring to distribute cocaine from June 23, 2000, until July 19, 2000. The indictment charges Lewis with one count of planning to intentionally possess with the intent to distribute cocaine. A second count charges Lewis with using a cellular phone to carry out the conspiracy. The indictment says the plan involved \"at least 5 kilograms of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine.\"
