Would it be too much to ask whoever makes the Saint's uniforms that all the gold on the pants, jersey, and helmet MATCH??? The helmet is a dark gold, which looks fine. But the jersey numbers are like a neon gold (if there is such a thing), and the pants are a faded "been through the wash too many times" gold. Can't a professional team do better than that? The Saints look like a high school team with a low budget out there. I say bring back the 1986-early 90's uniforms. They weren't the greatest, but they were the best up to that point that the team ever had, and all the pieces matched in color! :mad:

Yes we do need a uniform make over and we also need to choose a shade of gold and not try to incorporate the entire spectrum of gold color.

I\'d like to see the helmets without the center black and white stripe. A gold helmet, a la Notre Dame, with the Fluer de Lis on either side.

I didn\'t really like the gold jerseys either. Maybe if they had matched the helmet color they would make a better occasional alternate. I know one thing, I do not want my beloved Saints representing Notre Dame in ANY way! If you\'re gonna pattern a uni after a college, make it like LSU, not some yankee school.
