where can I get a cheese-bra? I need it for a present.....

I think we should play more of a base Dfense with less man to man and pick our shots with the blitzes. Harper will do fine knowing he has help and he can be more aggressive. THEY WILL NOT STOP OUR OFFENSE!!!!
Run first to set up the Pass. |
Nothing to be scarred of. Just wear the right cleats!!

Everything I'm hearing from everyone sure does remind me of the week right before the Rams game.
This has upset written all over it in big fat red bold font. |
This game will determine if the Saints learned from the Rams game and if they are truly ready for a playoff run.

We were playing in a dome on turf and should have racked up tons of yards. I agree we play poorly on the road, but I think this game is a good test of playing outdoors and in the elements. Run game is going to be key. Key test for our defense as the Titans run a LOT! |
Everyone says that history shows we are a bad road team and can't win away from the dome. But since Payton and Brees has been here the records are pretty close to even. We are 30-16 at home and 28-18 on the road. That's not a bad road team record if you ask me. The last 2 years we had a better record on the road than at home. I don't see any reason we we can't beat the Titans by 17 points on Sunday.

Do we have the talent to beat the living #%#@% out of the Titans? Sure! Problem is that this is the type of game we struggle with at times. See 2011 at Tampa Bay. See most other road games we SHOULD win that are outdoors. What I mean is that I sure hope the players and coaches take this SERIOUSLY. Hebert piled on my thoughts by saying this would be the toughest regular season game we have left and I totally agree. The most encouraging thing about this whole scenario is that the Titans are 7-5 and fighting for something. If they were 4-8 we would be totally screwed... |
I like 31-17. Just like last week. Just like the Superbowl a couple years back!!!

If you don't realize that this will be a tough game then you have your head in the sand (or somewhere else dark). Find somewhere else to insult people... |
This SO reminds me of the time I spent at another Saints site before I wised up and got tired of snide remarks from other Saints "fans".
Personally I came here to get away from people wanting you banned or emasculated over a single word you used in a post that got their panties in a wad. I'll leave the troll under the bridge alone now and say that I expect a hard fought, down to the wire victory over the Titans tomorrow. Who knows, I'll be glad to eat crow if we blow them out... |

If you want to be scared, be scared. If you want to watch a good game where your team is favored to win, watch a good game where your team is favored to win.
Personally, I think it makes the fanbase look bad, when people from other places log on to these forums and read that the hometown fans of one of the great teams of the modern NFL era, are "scared" every other week. I really do think that a lot of people were traumatized by events that happened in the wayback when, in their formative years of the Saints or whatever. I mean who of us wasn't. And I dunno, maybe they're still thinking it's all a house of cards, an illusion, waiting for it to collapse at any second. They're totally into the team, they are great fans, but in the back of their mind it's like they're nervously looking for the first sign of weakness or failure, so they can go back into their comfortable shell of their parents' "same ole Saints" or something. Well I don't buy into that at all. We are too far past that now. I reject that kind of thinking. Just look at the facts -- look at the talent, look at the numbers, the record, the coach, look at the way the team looks on the field, in the huddle, or when they're running out of the tunnel, their history in tough games -- no need to put it in macho lingo, or call people's fandom into question, but there is NO reason for a fan of the Saints to be "scared" of ANY team in the NFL, period. Yeah, they may lose, but there's no reason not to be confident going in there, no reason to be worrying that the sky is going to fall. |
So I guess all the concerns were NOT unfounded heh?
