Don't know what was/is more disappointing -
a) Leaving the Saints to sign with the Failcons... b) Suing the NFL because as an adult you failed to ask the proverbial question "What Is This Schiott You Popping Me, Doc?" c) Being seen in Public in those pimp suits? |

a) Saints didn't want to resign him. Don't blame him. b) Players will do almost anything to play. Don't blame him. c) He should burn in hell. :D |

Are you crazy. C'mon man !

reading the article, it sounds like they have every right to sue. good for them.
i wonder what willy jax is doing these days? best yac yards reciever the saint ever had. :) man, that dude was fun to watch! and...he was a gator! |
So, if you read the comments listed at the end of the article, some from physicians, Toradol, an injectable drug, is equivalent to an Aleve or something like that. In other words, these players are suing for the equivalent of taking an OTC painkiller? Is this another Jerry McGuire moment here?

I am sure that both sides have some legitimacy.
The league/team owners wants them to play - bring in revenues. The player does not want to be known for being hurt or unable to "play through the pain". An older player (i.e. JOe Horn) would be concerned that injury would hurt his chances of playing (& it did!!) |
