The Silent Killer, Mr Marques Colston!!!!
That W offensively should go to Marques, on a day where Jimmy Graham wasn't a hundred percent and the refs were against us Marques got wide open once and then ran one of the best routes all day and got open a second time for the game winner!!! He has been handling his business lately. He's had one bad game this season, same game where he broke his collarbone giving his body up to make a catch. Love Please!!!!

There is always love for Marques Colston. A class guy that fought for his spot in the NFL after coming out of a school that doesn't have a football program any more, and surprised the league. A man that has had some bad drops but has always backed it up with an important catch. Most of all, a key part in the saints offense that has remained humble and quiet, yet gets the job done with no fuss. What a player to have and how lucky we are. Quiet Storm? Is there another name which is as apt.

Got to love colston, goes out there every week and gives 110%, even if he's not getting the ball he will work to create openings for his teammates, all round special player
Did anyone notice the air he got on his first TD catch, jimmy graham would be proud of that lol How many times does the 252nd pick in the draft come out, start immediately and break NFL records? |
Love Colston,he has my vote . LOL, problem with the Saints is we have so much talent at WR/TE/RB, it could be anyone next week , we never know.
Thing I like most about Colston is he will mess up, and then has the maturity to let it go and turn his game around. |
Of course Colston gets our love.
And you right there with his routes and, for me, his bravery. I thought he may not get back to top level with his injuries. But he takes a lick and doesn't flinch. |
Colston is the MAN! He is MY favorite receiver and has taking some MONSTER hits after the catch & hangs on to the ball as well as making some UNBELIEVABLE catches. Sure everyone has drops from time to time but he always seems to make up for it!
|
Remember the thread at the beginning of the season about who our best WR was?
Its Colston. |
I've been saying it if Colston could stay healty his name should be up there with the best receivers in the league.
|
Not bad from someone who hasn't been to a Pro Bowl
|
He is one of the best recievers in the league and has been for awhile. Nothing flashy just a blue collar player that always, and I mean always does his job.
|
Brees to Colston TD. Helmet on lets go play. He get his job done.
|
He is my type of athlete. He's humble, quiet and does his job very very well. I was also wondering if he'd get back to form after his injuries. He sure did.
|
Clutch reciever, no question. We are lucky to have him.
|
Remember his rookie year 06 & they made the commericals & his was catching footballs behind his back!!
|
Marques would be THE star of any other team.
I think you could hit him with a truck, and he'd still catch the ball. Hes all talent, courage, and class. Minus the endzone theatrics, and zero mouth. |
Some guys just let it fly, so to speak. You can tell that Colston's head is in the game ALL THE TIME. He is low key and focused ALL THE TIME.
