this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; With the style of play the Saints use on defense, I'm surprised that the completion percentage isn't higher especially after seeing Eli and Stafford complete almost every pass they attempted in those games...

But Eli was only 14 of 31. But the Saints really really give up completions late in the game for the most part when GW brain has become burned out and he asks 1/2 his defense to blitz whilst the other 1/2 props up the goal posts in the end zone. You know the type of defense that teams are showing Tebow late in games to boost his Justice League of America status. |
