I'll still take that A-hole in a Saints uni next year.

Totally uncalled-for comments. And I won't forgive him for them.
HOWEVER, New Orleans has fallen quite a ways since the '70's and you guys know it. Not EVERY neighborhood now, but mine is looking a bit rundown and I'm told that the residents now include quite a few "NON-resident-aliens." I grew up on Banks St, near the cemetary. Of course I drove through during my recent visit. THAT will always be a mandatory excursion. It's just sad when "home" no longer looks like home, but that's a part of maturing I guess. All that being said, the Minneapolis / St. Paul airport has just as certainly been settled by East Africans and you just know a mullet-wearing redneck like Jared Allen grits his teeth whenever he walks through "his own" airport... The world is forever changing. Ask the dinosaurs about that! Alaska But I love me some NOLA all the same. |

Alaska .[/QUOTE] This is so true. It's changed so much, that it doesn't even feel like home when I go back. |

I'm sorry, Jared Allen. How many wins do the Vikings have? Two? Yeah, that's right. Shut the **** up.

Not the first time I have heard that comment. It is a general impression from most people who do not frequent the city.
