Jimmy Graham chases a record also!!
I dont know if anyone saw this...
Dec. 19, 2011 3:39 p.m. - by Larry Holder - TE Graham chasing his own history TE Jimmy Graham isn't letting Drew Brees have all of the NFL record fun. Graham has 1,171 receiving yards and only needs 120 receiving yards with two games remaining to break the single season receiving yards record for a TE. HOF TE Kellen Winslow set the record in 1980 with the Chargers. |
Geaux Big MAN!!
|
Oh that record is toast! Getter done!!!
|
60 yards a game? He already averages that...
|
Well I was surprised. Not that Graham was doing so well, but that he was leading Rob Gronkowski. But yous there are right. He leads Rob Gronkowski by 30 yards.
So we have a close run thing (or should that be a close receiving ting) for the TE receiving record this term. |
The Saints are breaking all kinds of records this year. Keep on going.
|
He could have a huge game against the Dirty Birds.
|
I remember this story getting some play when Jimmy had 3 straight 100 yd games.
I haven't thought about it for a while. Thanks for the reminder. He deserves the recognition for the great year that he is having. Colston routinely posts 1,000 yd seasons and no one pays attention. I LOVE this team's unselfish attitude. They all defer to Drew as the leader. Mickey and Sean deserve recognition every time we talk about any player. |

YES I agree, I think the unselfishness of the team is one of the keys to the Saints success! DEATH TO ALL THE RECORDS!! WHO DAT!! |
That's the difference between good teams and GREAT teams! You don't hear any whinning from the Saints like you do with some of the other NFL teams. Colston is a beast and plays for the team every week. Very little recognition, but we Saints fans appreciate all of them. Love that Golden Graham!! Here's to moving out of the way 'cause records are falling all over the field this year!
Geaux Saints Geaux!! |
