Should be more than 2
|
I"m going to tell the people that are the head of the pro-bowl that no Saints player will be attending that game because they will be playing in the Super Bowl and to contact their replacements. I don't think any of us will mind.. I know I want!!
|
I have had a window open on the ballot page for the last month.
I always proceeded whatever I was surfing for by voting for each Saint at least once. That's a couple of hundred votes, easy! |
Remember all the posts about replacing Harper, and how he'd be "exposed" all season?
Combining my Louisiana and Alabama upbringing... Where Yaw-At? |

Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, & Roman Harper should all be locks! BrianDe La Puenta, Carl Nicks, J'Hari Evans, & yes.....Jabari Greer should all be strong considerations as well.
You know what's really sad though......Brees is breaking all of these major NFL passing records, yet Rodgers & Brady have more Pro Bowl votes. How shady is that. It's just like in 2009, when he had better stats & won the Super Bowl.....yet Manning won the league MVP. The man gets no respect! |

Get after it Neck!!! I am surprised that Polamalu hasn't broken or tied that record as much as he blitzes. |
Quote:
Is he really good? Yes. He is allowed to make occasional, spectacular plays because the rest of the defense holds up around him. Polamalu playing in an average or worse defense would get cut for leaving everyone else out to dry. The Steelers defense is good enough to allow him to freelance. He is EXCEPTIONAL at doing that at times. He guesses wrong often. The Neck isn't close to being the athlete that Troy is. He makes big plays anyway. |

Drew behind Brady and Rogers?
|
I hope we send 0 to the Pro Bowl and play the next week, I liked that in 2009.

Would love to see Roman sack Matt Ryan a few times on Monday night, and break the record. :D

Quarterback Drew Brees received the third highest amount of votes – behind only Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers
Really behind Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers. C'mon Football Fans. Popularity contest The numbers in Brees' favor are staggering. With two games to go, he has thrown for 4,780 yards -- the most in NFL history through 14 games -- and is on pace for 5,462 yards. In a season in which he is averaging 341.4 passing yards per game, Brees needs to average only 152.5 yards in the next two games to break the record. Only three teams have held Brees to fewer than 300 passing yards, and none did better than Tampa Bay, which gave up 258 yards in Week 9. |
