Its probably tied to a couple things that aren't performance related...

Games played and or a contract renegotiation.

I've always liked Reggie " Dancing Bear" Bush but I think Sproles fits our O so much better. I feel were going to get at least a 3 or 4 out of it. So if you count Sproles, Amaya, and a pick we did well enough. Also Matt Flynn is up for grabs after this season, any thought? The talk is up here by some Green Bay fans he is as good if not better than Rodgers, I think he could be Brees heir in a few years and to top it off piss McCarthy off by coming here.

Agreed, we traded up no matter what we get.

We were lucky to get anything at all for Bush.

We were not going to pay him 12 million, so he could have simply forced us to release him and he could negotiate with any team.

Reggie and Miami did us a huge favor.

Here was an article that said nothing. The writer's probably paid by the word and had an electric bill past due. Everyone's playing their cards real close to their vests on this deal. I doubt we know anything until the season's over.

I still think its based on his performance, but there not going to say that because it could affect his play.

One thing Payton and Loomis don't do well, is make trades.

Maybe this "draft" pick was that damn slice of pizza I pizza I see him shilling out in that commercial. It's a draft pick not the launch codes to the nuke that's going to kill us all so why can't they just tell us what they got for him

After watching him with the Saints, I never thought I'd see him with a shot at 1000 yds. Hope he gets it even though 1000 yds isn't what it used to be, now anyone can rush for 1000 yds in a season now a days

If it's a late round draft pick, it's liable to be a more productive player than if it had been a first or second round pick from the way we draft...

I'm wondering, the alleged conditional pick may not have anything at all to do with Reggie.

It may have something to do with Amaya. If he performs well for us, a 5th may turn into a 6th.

Or...

It may have to do with how the teams finish. If its a pick in the upper portion of the round, its a 6th, if its a lower pick in the round, it may be a 5th.

The fact that we got anything at all for Reggie is a blessing.

Wait, lemme get this straight...

We traded a guy we didn't want, who was too expensive and too injured for some draft picks and we got a better player, cheaper and who hasn't missed a down for nothing other than his less costly salary.

I'm not sure, but I think if all we get is a camp body for the trade, it was worth it.
