Redskins = Yankees of the NFL?
Other than Portis, they have done nothing but sign slightly above-average players. I\'m getting tired of hearing about them, but they really aren\'t putting together anything great.

Redskins = Yankees of the NFL?
How?
How do they keep doing this every year? Don\'t they have all sorts of cap penalties from players they have signed and released over the past couple of years? Is it the signing bonuses? I don\'t want to see the Saints spend haphazardly like the Snyders do, but they sure do screw up the market pretty quickly. They\'ve also swiped two players off of my wish list. :casstet: |
Redskins = Yankees of the NFL?
I would disagree with the Redskins = Yankee\'s. The Yankee\'s have had success in what they do. I would say the Redskins = NY Rangers (NHL).

Redskins = Yankees of the NFL?
Good point. They are more like the Rangers because they under-achieve. I was just referring to the amount of money they are spending, not so much the talent level.
But I would like to refrain from discussing the Skins anymore. There are some that are tired of hearing about it, and it is vital that we don\'t offend, due to the fact that we rely so heavily on his knowledge base. [Edited on 5/3/2004 by BlackandBlue] |
