Ok, I've been noticing a couple of things about the Saints lately, that I'd like to bring up for discussion to see if anyone else has noticed this as well.
First, over the last 2-3 weeks, I've noticed that GW has been using Franklin and Rogers more as starters at DT on the D-Line. Yeah I know about the convienient excuse of Sed Ellis' hammy (See the Ingram/Ivory dance)but I'm not necessarily buying that. What I have seen is the Saints stop some SERIOUS RB's over that span and help the team with getting 3 & outs more and even a few TO's. Could they be getting that lineup ready to go against Turner, a more powerful runner? ![]() Third, I think it would be a BIG MISTAKE to sit Ivory and bring up Ingram for this game. Ivory is the faster more powerful runner and is starting to get a good feel for the game and I think is ready to break out. He's like a slightly smaller Steven Jackson, and don't go to sleep on his recieving skills either, we just haven't been showcasing them. Thoughts? |
