Hard to beat the sam team 3 times. It has been done - its just hard!!

We play like we did tonight (especially the "O" in the first 1/2) & we will not be beat.

phocis850 12-27-2011 12:01 AM

Falcons O was on it tonight except in the endzone. It was the Falcons D that lost the game.

pumpkindriver 12-27-2011 12:47 AM

Our D was on it in the Redzone.

The stats say that the team that wins the first two, wins 77% of the third meetings. Those remember me shots that Roddy White and Julio Jones took in this game will pay dividends in the next game.

The Falcons were SERIOUSLY out-coached in the previous two games.

What would change in the playoffs?

Will Mike Smith get a brain transplant?

FailClowns boards are blaming the refs.

Typical.

I pointed this out the whole week prior to the game. The Saints defense has been giving up yardage, mostly through the air, but making big stops in the redzone. They have been playing the "bend but don't break" about as well as could be played.

Relishing how wrong the preseason media butt kissers have fell flat on their predictions.

I think its more along the lines that Mularkey and BVG have reached their max potential as coaches. But at the same time we have a team that went through complete destruction 5 years ago and is now making its 3rd playoff appearance since then. The organization was basically gutted and has become a team that is considered a playoff team each year. Quite impressive.

Not to mention, Matt Ryan has become a dangerous qb. He's finishing his 4th season with no vet help. He is just slinging the ball around with the best of them now.

My main concern over a 3rd meeting between these teams is the potential for the Saints to look past them, i.e. the Rams game.

77%? So the hard to beat a team 3X is just another worn out cliche'.
Face it, they don't want to play us again. too many weapons offensively, and D is playing better.
More incentive for them to win on Sunday.

Yep, saw the stats over there too. I always thought it was hard to win the 3rd but apparently facts contradict that cliche mightily.

Not sure I understand what you're saying here.
