I am officially OFF his back.

Well... Okay with me.

He's not a superstar, but made a solid contribution to that great game.

He's been burnt more than a prayer candle, but I gotta' give credit where it's due.......Shanle played well last night.

He has some excellent plays last night

That fumble he caused was pure beauty.

Underrated by just about everybody but the coaches.

If he played like this every game, no one would be on his back.

More often than not, he hasn't looked nearly as good.

A lot of people point at our linebackers as being terrible (I by no means think that the linebackers are great), but I really think that our LBs often look worse than they are because of bad play on the defensive line. These last few weeks, the D-Line has look much better, and in turn has made our entire defense look much more stable. Plus, the increased playing time of Dunbar has made the LB group feel much more complete.

He's had a good season with more games like this than not

no matter how good shanle does...hell always be the goat

Continuity certainly helps, as well as other parts of the defense working well.

The D-line affects every other position.

To me Shanle is an average to slightly below average NFL LB. He's not as bad as many state, but he certainly isn't as good as a few claim.

Obviously he's the best we currently have or he'd be replaced.

Well, he looked like he graduated from the Darren Sharper School of Ball Thievery. Hard for me to complain.

Shanle did rock, but if Sharper continues man loving Rodgers, I'm officially DONE with the ex-#42.

It's been said many times, many ways: Shanle is the best we have at that position.
5th on the team in tackles, and responsible for 2 TO's (both vs ATL). Not bad.

The defense played well as a whole.
