Three years ago I flew in on a Saturday for the Philly playoff game and it turned out we were the early game. Landed 2 hours befored KO, sweating it out the whole way. |
The Saints fan in me wants them to give us either the Saturday NIGHT game or the Sunday LATE game. Give us one of those, please! The Dome is so much louder and better at night, it's like ten times more wild in there than it is for a noon kickoff. If you look at it from the point of view of ratings, it's a tough call with a New York team in the mix...but given the proven TV ratings the Saints have been known to generate it really makes a ton of sense to me, for the league to put the Saints in the prime time game on Saturday night. And put TEEBOW on Sunday morning where he belongs, LOL. Falcons/Saints with like a 5:45 or 6 PM Saturday kickoff would be OFF the chain.

Also remember time zones -- it looks like Denver is gonna be hosting a wild card game, so that WILL have to be the LATE game on one of the two days...because you can't have a kickoff in Denver at 9 AM or something. If that hypothetical schedule is correct, then Denver will probably be the late game on Sunday, in Denver. 1 PM kickoff, 4 PM on the East Coast kinda deal.

This is just my gut feeling but since we always have great ratings, we will have the Saturday night game especially if it is against the birds
|
The earlier the better in my opinion.
When we win the wildcard (assuming SF doesn't choke against the Lambs), we have to go to San Fran the next week and that will be a Saturday game on the West coast. |
What problems we have, lol. Doesn't matter to me as long as we play on Sunday in February.

should be Sunday (right?!?!?)
