The silver lining of not getting the #2 seed
This team is too hot and too healthy right now to take a break.
I think that the timing of the offense needs to stay sharp and we will get some key D players back next week. Going with the prediction that has served me well for a number of games now... Saints 31 Lions 21 |
Im all in on your prediction, arsaint.
Bring on dem Lions...the Packers 2nd string QB ripped em up so I dont see Brees having trouble doing it either. |
just keep Suh away from Drew!

We will definitely need to account for him! |
If this team can manage to Protect Drew Brees and make their assignments we'll be alright throughout the playoff's and beyond.
This offense if you ask me is FAR better than 2009's.. The Defense is need to keep consistent and stop falling short on assignments. |
I'd say the defense is better than '09 if they could catch the ball... Run D is definately better
|
Our D wasnt great but didnt do BAD today. They did hold a high scoring offense to only 17 points. Detroit, like Carolina, has a high scoring offense and a not-so-great defense. I see the Lions having trouble keeping up with Brees & Co. and the outcome will be the same.
Saints 40 something Lions less than 30 |

To win a wild card game you're supposed to win, win in San Fran, and then have to go to Green Bay is MUCH tougher than having a home game and then going to play the Packers. Can the Saints do it? Absolutely. No doubt about it. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked if the Packers get upset and the Saints host the NFC Championship. WHO DAT!
