It's the Saints and the Lions next weekend. If the Lion couldn't stop Matt Flynn what make them think they can stop Drew Brees and the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS.

They didn't after Thanksgiving either!!

Suh is their only wild-card, he's dirty and scares me to think of what he'll do to Drew if he can.

Teams still run on them even when he's in shut down calvin stafford and move on!!!!!

if Suh even thinks of playing dirty with Drew I can see an all out brawl on our hands.

Saints have skils, players, smarts, plays and coaching.

I think you are right if Suh plays dirty, I can see Saints vs. Lions free for all. I do not want to see that. I did not want to see a few weeks ago when Saints played DetLions.

We have had this thread, but agressive plays, hard tackels, fine.

the guards and center must play a perfect game.

The Lions are quite capable of beating us, as is every team in the playoffs.

But if we play mistake free, no one will.

My guess is we are favored by 9, with a ridiculous over/under.
Be patient with our defense everyone, we might give up another ton of yards, and maybe even 30 points, but we are going to score at will.

Either that, or the GB O is so scary at home, they don't need Rodgers ( don't know which starters they sat though, but the more they sat ... um...). Or the Lions had a bad day. But they put up 41? points. That's not a bad day, except that GB D is not good.

Anyway, at home, I think it's party time in dome on Saturday.

Just one thing, pray for the defense to channel Darren Sharper in the playoffs.

I'd start the game cuttblocking Suh on almost every play, tha'll slow him down. If he starts something dirty fight fire with fire and chop block the hell outta him.

Playoff time = massive game. Fortunately we have a better A game but we have to bring it.

We KNOW that Suh will bring it. Evans & Strief must be on their guard (no pun intended) and I reckon Suh will get his sack. If Suh overpursuits, then Ivory & Thomas over Right Guard/Right Tackle gives us a field to exploit.

Suh is dirty and twisted. He's also All Pro, but so are the three offensive linemen who will be closest to him. I really don't think Drew will get hurt in this one. He has been roughed up by some great players -- Marcus Ware, for one -- and he is just fine.

Yeah, don't forget Freeney and Mathis, Jared Allen, and Laurinaitis and few others that don't immediately come to mind.

Drew is as elusive as a breeze. :-)

Stafford put up big numbers against us. Remember the last game would have been much closer but the lions kept penalizing themselves, that won't happen again. We have to be on our game.

This is a dangerous game, and as stated by everyone, we have to play mistake free football to get the win. Detroit is not going to just lie down for us. Their first play off game in how many years? They will be ready.

As long as the saints are the saints, and the lions are the lions, we will be fine.

Good point-- total self-destruction by the Lions last time, and we played very sloppy as well

Thats what comforts me. We didn't even play our A-game and still won relatively easily.

If we bring our A-game, its total destruction. They won't know WTF hit them.
