Great Essay on Our Saints
Be forewarned though, its loaded with profanity and if you're easily offended, don't click on this link or attempt to read this, even though its spot on imo.

Read the whole thing and have to say I agree with everything he said. If Brady would of broken the record his clip would still be playing on ESPN on loop for at least a week
|
I saw this article last week...profanity aside, the author makes some excellent points and puts into print what a lot of Who Dats are feeling.
|
Best article I have seen.... All this Political Correctness BS... Say it and believe it baby
|
Speaking da truth! Said what I've been screaming for weeks. Glad someone else articulated my feelings so well. I'm over being politically correct, because we all know that the TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!
:bng: |
It is very lifting to see what I've been wrestling with emotionally actually put into words. Does anyone have tissue handy?...or at the very least let's all join together in a virtual group-hug!
Ready? 1, 2, 3... I'm good now. Thanks! :) |
Rogers will be the MVP, the argument in most articles is decided because of more wins and less interceptions. Although impressive, they totally disregard Brees's stats and bag of records and choose to overlook some of Rogers like being sacked 12 more times for one. It would likely be more because Flynn got sacked 5 times. Which is also why he runs like 5 times more a game than Brees. A running QB IMO should be frowned upon because at that point you are no longer a QB but a RB. Brees on the other hand runs about 1 time a game because he is trying to play QB not RB, hence more picks which the majority are not his fault in the first place.

Our goals trump your feelings.....

Funny BUT true

Wow, now that was some Ernest Hemingway s**t right there.

As I said on another thread, Drew Brees threw 125 more passes for 833 more yards than Aaron Rodgers and still has a Completion% of 71.2 versus 68.3% for Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers YPA was approx. 1 yard more per throw than Brees, but as Pherein points out, longer passes rely more on receiver talent than a shorter passing game.
But, what occurs to me about the MVP award, is that we don't know what criteria they are using to make the award, so, to me, it is almost impossible to make the right argument. It just seems very subjective to me. |
MVP=Most Valuable Player...Right? If your 2nd string QB plays in 1 game and accumulates 6 TDs and an obscene amount of yardage, wouldnt that prove that your 1st string QB is not THE BEST but maybe its the rest of the team who are the real value?
|
Drew Bree's IS MVP. Period...no question in my mind. How good could it feel to Rodgers or Brady to get it knowing they darn well don't deserve it? I agree with what the writer says in a lot of ways. The media are "ho's", so always expect them to act like a ho's. They won't letcha down!
