If the SAINTS win SUPER BOWL 46, How many more CHAMPIONSHIPS do you think we would need to be considered a DYNASTY. I understand the challenge of actually going out there and WINNING multiple RINGS, but sometimes they make the SAINTS work extra hard to get our just DUE recognition. What do yall think???????

No city that hosted a SB has had their team have a winning season. That is another "record" that I would like to see broken next year.

It is way too early for dynasty talk and even if the Saints did win 3, the media would probably not use the "dynasty" word to describe them, because of their bias against the Saints and Brees and their being a smaller market team.


'd rather talk about a "window of opportunity" (Payton's words) rather than a dynasty, any day. Payton is locked up, I think we get Brees locked up after the season, then it's a long and amazing run, with different varying pieces surrounding the core of the team. Enjoy the ride

I just wanted thoughts on how they view the SAINTS. It seems like they hold our standards different because we're CONSISTENT, AGGRESSIVE, AND EXPLOSIVE, like we're SUPPOSED to set records and win games. but with anyone else they're ready to hand them the key to the city. I'm not the one to get excited and over react to a few good seasons (I recently got passed that phase of our existence) but just comparing how they judge us against everyone else. (LIKE MAYBE THE BRONCOS) or how SOMEHOW they used to pick the COWBOYS to win the SUPER BOWL every year despite how much they underachieved.

WAy to early to think about that... I mean get to the 3rd one and lets get to say 2018 then we can start having the talk about the Saints being the team of the 2009-2020's.

This is why a lot of people are going to really start hating on us if we start talking like this and acting like punks.

We need to stick to our roots... enjoy each game, each moment, party like rockstars and then worry about tomorrow... tomorrow.

Agreed. Once we win our third superbowl which will be the first time a team does it in their own stadium in 2013. Then we can talk about Dynasty! WHODAT!!

I agree with the "you have to win 3 SB's" crowd and I think you have to do it in the same decade, like a Steelers of the '70s, Niners of the '80s, Packers of the '60s and Lions of the '50s ... yeah, that's right, I said it, "the Lions of the '50s", hahaha!
