James Thrash
Pasquarelli on ESPN.com writes about the number of reciever that the Eagles now have, with T.O. on board. He suggests that Thrash is the odd-man out. My thinking is that if we decide to trade Horn, we could replace him with ready to start Thrash, and take a reciever later in order to develop him. but only if we trade Horn, i dont think he has the deep speed to replace Stallworth as a field strecher. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/column...len&id=1761217 anybody else for WR trade theory mongering? |
James Thrash
no don\'t see Horn going anywheres at all... besides all we need is to look for another cb to help cover Philly recievers. I don\'t think Horn will drop passes against us.

If the Saints sign any ex-Eagle receivers, I\'ll cry. If it came down to either signing Thrash, or adding a new golf cart for the coaches, give me the golf cart- neither can catch, but at least the golf cart has some moves.

James Thrash
Amen to that. Possibly the worst WR corps (excluding Owens) I have ever seen.

James Thrash
Trust Me I live in Philly and you do NOT want James \"TRASH\" Thrash at all
|
James Thrash
Thank you, BnB. After I wiped off my keyboard and monitor (get your mind out of the gutter), I changed my sig.
Needed some new material. What about Pinkston? If he followed the \"Grady Hand I Love Cajun Food Diet\", he could be up to ... what.... 160lbs by the beginning of the season. |
James Thrash
You ought to be backhanded for even thinking about James Thrash coming to the Saints. The Eagles had the worst receivers in the league last year. Did you not watch the Philly/Carolina playoff game last year? Pay attention, son!!

James Thrash
People give me a hard time about sounding off against the coaches.... and then people suggest that we get rid of the best receiver in the history of the franchise and one of the top 5 or 10 receivers inthe league every year for the last 4 years for a guy whose career stats look my bowling score card.

all im saying is Thrash was the most consistent of the group and probably could be had for not that much. he was miscast in philly as a no.1 reciever, when he could flourish as a no. 2 or 3, in the same vein as willie jackson did for us a few years ago. and its not like our WR did anything spectacular last season either, except for maybe dropping all those passes, that was pretty hard to do. the eagles did make it to the championship game(again). and you dont get there without catching the ball when you need to. and you want to backhand me? i was just trying to find ways to improve depth and competition in our team maybe bring a guy whos used to winning and has been around prennial playoff teams as well as the players on them. in fact, im sorry i even said all that, i mean i must have forgot my place as a saints fan and how i want them to lose. |

How buot whoopin up some chow on that coal stove. I need some vittles. Thrash sucks, Pinkston suck, Mitchell sucks. Keep em away. I don\'t think we need to waste any more free agent money on WR\'s. Last I checked we had a pretty good crew. Sure they had an off year. They will be fine. Get the \"D\" in line first and their wont be so much pressure on the offense. Then they can have fun and put up \'02 numbers again. |

my apologies to you and your coal. |

Thrash is going to be the number two guy... they don\'t have intentions on getting rid of him. Bring in a threat like TO and now you have just another weapon.
|
James Thrash
Thrash will not be in Philly next year, that\'s for sure. He is definitely the odd man out, that\'s why Philly offered him, and a 5th round pick to San Fran before they made the trade w/ Baltimore.
Why are we even talking about Thrash? We don\'t need any WRs. We need to concentrate on our D. If there\'s anything we\'ve learned in recent years is that defense wins Super Bowls. |
James Thrash
Please, anybody but Thrash....If Philly don\'t want him, then that is saying something.

the reason isnt that they dont want them, but they have TO now, pinkston is young with tremendous potential; Mitchell came on strong in the second half of last season, so that leaves Thrash as the number four guy, with his salary they cant afford to keep him on the bench to let their investments get on the field. all im saying is he might be a good number 2. a cheap number 2 if our organization plays it right. |
James Thrash
Why even bother with him. We have already gambled on Crowell which may or may not pay off. Horn, Stallworth, Pathon, and lets not forget Lewis. Why waste the money. Just cause its cheap I guess.
