Loomis on draft - CB?

Im not a big conspiracy theory smokescreen guy but examine this quote by Loomis...

"We feel we're OK at corner after re-signing Fred Thomas and Fahkir Brown, but obviously it's a position we could get younger at," Loomis said. "If we can get one of those top cornerbacks in the draft, we'll need to give it strong consideration."

Does that have "we want Vilma @18" written all over it?

He\'s probably talking if Chris Gamble falls to us, they will have to consider taking him. I would hope they are smart enough to realize that we would be better off with Vilma in the 1st, and a CB or two in the 2nd.

Saints could be saying they would be willing to trade up .

Top corners do not usually fall in the draft , especially in this era with the taller and faster receivers but if a team was willing to trade down , the Saints would consider it .
