A shout out to the un-heralded
 

In this season of record breaking passing, magnificent Tight Ends and a free agent that has been more than worth his weight in Black and Gold, I would like to give a massive shout out to a man that is fast becoming one of my favourite players to watch; Jedediah Gabriel Collins, I salute you! I have always liked the Full Back because it is a dying breed but when one comes along like this, I am glad we have him. When our running game impresses, I love to see Ol' Jed running between the tackles and taking out a linebacker, it really is great to watch. Don't get me wrong, I love watching all the usual suspects but I am starting to want to join the order of Jedediah Knights.

I was thinking the same thing, he's a good FB though seldom used beyond blocking. I have a feeling he may see the ball more this game. 49ers are going to do everything they can to stop Sproles and Graham.

I don't think I have ever been a bigger fan of PT that is until now.

Don't forget "lack of Thomas Morestead". LOL He's the best non-player we've got.

Jed Collins is doing really well this year at a patented, classic Sean Payton role. The team lines up at the goal line or short yardage, with all the deadly weapons arrayed, the other team's defense freaks out and collectively excretes some large rectangular masonry over who to stop... and then the TD goes to the unknown fullback, that the other team has never even heard of. I bet we see a fair bit of him on Saturday.
