Think about it this way--at least the Saints' only lost by 4, to a team with the same regular season 13-3 record. Green Bay, well I didn't check the final score, but I think it was 37-20, and a loss to a 9-7 team.
I still can't help but think the two best teams didn't make it. But it's the sad thing about football, and the exciting thing too I guess. In the playoffs, all you've got to be is the best team for each day. I'm not sure why anyone is so thrilled to see Greg Williams go, breaking up this team that is so obviously working. I think trimming, fixing, and patching would've been better. Who knows what we'll get next year. Careful what you keep asking for--and I wonder why you hate him so much. |
