Loss of RB Thomas hurts Saints offense

Tell you what, bad @$$es or not, if I was an offensive player for the Saints and watched PT get taken out of the game, I'd move on. If I was on offensive player for the Saints and heard on the sideline that he was KNOCKED OUT, I'll admit it would have gotten to me a little. He's a hard runner and he was wearing a helmet. Whitner wasn't even running full speed or anything. That was definitely in the offense's heads. Like a skinny receiver catching balls in traffic after getting laid out by a hawking SS.

I have no idea what you just said. Seriously. I said it before the game, the 49ers needed to play well but more imporantly they needed luck. They got it and some. That defense didn't scare the Saints. They scored over 30 pts. It came down to the last minute and a half which SF defense had nothing to do with. The last time SF's defense took the field they gave up a TD and a 2 pt conversion and were losing. I forgot about the 11 seconds or so at the end but you get my point. The Saints never backed down.

The potential for that hit to intimidate players like Roby was absolutely that. Potential. I'm not saying it did or didn't but everything factors. We don't fumble 5 times in every game.
