Article: Brees' contract talk could get ugly
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Just a crazy thought, what would we do if they don't reach an agreement? Their will be a day Brees want be here!! Any thoughts?? I love him as much as anyone here but we have to think about it....

If it comes down to it they can always franchise tag him, because "the Brady antitrust" claim or whatever regarding franchise tags was dropped from the CBA before the owners and players reached an agreement prior to this season. If the Saints want him to play next season - he'll play 100% regardless of how the contract talks go. |
