Alex Smith. Incredible. He completes passes when he has no pressure and when receivers are wide open. If he were under the pressure that Manning and Brees were under, his one-digit passer rating would have been another embarrassing playoff record.

You beat the Saints because we made mistakes, which we are in the process of correcting. You lost to the Giants because they are better and because your QB is an overrated game-mananging chump.

Enjoy my life for the past week.

Other than being blown out 75-3, that ending is exactly what you deserved. The only thing missing was the electricty going out at Candlewatt Stadium 30 seconds after your season ended because you couldn't defend your home turf (cow pasture).

Just know that you face a first place schedule next year and you will see us again, but not on Thursday night to open the season!
