Angry I blame Scott Shanle!

Plain and Simple the blitzing got us sent home, BUT THAT LAST TD PASS TO VERNON DAVIS SHANLE WAS OUT OF POSITION!. HE PLAYED TO SHALLOW AND FOR REASONS UNKNOWN PLAYED THE MIDDLE FOR CROSSING ROUTES AND OPENED THAT LANE FOR THE THROW. IF HE PLAYS HIS RESPONSIBILITY HE PICKS THAT OFF AND WE GO ON TO STOMP THE GIANTS AND BLOW OUT THE PATRIOTS. BEING A HOMER ASIDE. 2011-2012 NEW ORELEANS SAINTS ARE THE BEST TEAM IN NFL HISTORY TO NOT HOIST A LOMBARDI. BETTER THEN THE 1 LOSS PATS OF A FEW YEARS AGO.

THANK YOU Greg Williams for Helping bring a Lombardi to N.O good bye. Spags GET SCOTT SHANLE THE FUH OUTTA HERE!

RAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH (╮°-°)╮┳━┳ (╯°□°)╯ ┻━┻ *flips table* GET SOME!

Scott is average (prolly slightly below).

If you wanna blame anyone how about his back-ups who didn't play well enough to take his spot.

.....or you can blame a poor defensive coaching staff that didn't see guys like Rob Ninkovich were better than Shanle. Just saying....

Well Nink blew his knee out here and took 2 to 3 years to recover.

I don't think being logical is allowed. This is the internet after all.

Yeah and apparently people make statements and don't take the time to look up the info.

As per Rob Ninkovich - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ninkovich was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round (135th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft.[1] He signed a three-year contract with the team on July 18.[3]
In a preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on August 21, Ninkovich recorded two sacks and two forced fumbles but was also flagged for a costly unnecessary roughness penalty which led to a Cowboys touchdown.[3] He finished the preseason with three sacks.[1]
During the regular season, Ninkovich appeared in three games for the Saints as a reserve defensive end before suffering a knee injury against the Atlanta Falcons on September 25.[1] He was placed on season-ending injured reserve on September 29,[3] finishing the year with four tackles.[1]
During an afternoon practice on July 30, 2007, Ninkovich was carted off the field with a knee injury that caused him to miss the preseason.[3] He was waived by the team prior to the regular season opener.[3]

So he missed ONE season and we cut him.

Then:
Second stint with Saints
Ninkovich signed off the Dolphins' practice squad by the New Orleans Saints on December 3, 2008. He was released on July 30, 2009 after the Saints signed long snapper Jason Kyle. Ninkovich had previously been considered as a long snapping option for the Saints in the offseason.[9]

I mentioned this play during gameday chat.

He was a statue.

I think that it is telling that we are surprised and pleased when he actually plays average...........
