When's the MVP for the year announced?

MVP announced close to the SB

Drew has to get the MVP man, it comes up during that video that his 46 TD passes led the NFL and since rodgers and the packers laid an egg against the giants brees should get stronger consideration

Why is MVP such a secret thing? Why don't they set a date to announce?

Maybe I'm asking because the Saints rarely if ever have a player in the running.....

He'll have a nice tan when he receives his award. That's some consolation.

Don't know if anyone's watching the Pro Bowl but Cam errr Fig Newton ain't no QB, he's a freakin Clown. Singlehandedly losing the game. Seriously, this guy is a pro bowler? Not in my book.

I think that if they are going to give an MVP award just for the regular season, then Drew should certainly be in contention...but IMO, they should wait til the SB's over before they vote for the MVP because last time I checked, the post-season did have significance.

That's exactly what I was saying last night. Newton did not come close to fitting in with that group! WHY was he there??? So sad. He did...he went in there and just gave the whole game away for the NFC. I would have at least had the decency to look sorry or embarrassed, too, if I were him, but NO!

So how comes you got an invite + 1 to Hawaii?
