Porter is coming off of his fourth NFL season, and 2011 was a decent one for him, recording 52 tackles and 1 interception. Since he started getting regular playing time in 2009, Porter has always hovered right around these numbers. He’s certainly not a guy who jumps off the page at you, but he has shown potential in his young career to maybe become a Pro Bowler. SP has always liked Porter. Porter's production dropped off when they moved him to the slot position in favor of the under achieving Patrick Robinson. I think it kind of upset Porter to be supplanted that way by someone who didn't do any better and actually did a worse job than Porter. I think Porter would love to stay but Spags would have to show him some support that he didn't get from GW whose defenses got worse every year instead of better.
