#1 overall pick
Who would you pick with the number 1 pick of this years draft?

#1 overall pick
If the Saints had the pick or the chargers?

#1 overall pick
I think the Chargers will take Larry Fitzgerald or trade down. I think they should take...it\'s hard to pass on Eli but I think Brees still has time to develop, so they should take Fitz or Gallery.
If the Saints had it, I would hope that they would trade down. If I had to take one player in the draft, it would be Eli. You gotta go with the Franchise QB. |
#1 overall pick
With the overall first pick :
Eli Manning - The chance of a Legacy quarterback who could eclipse the totals his father had , is just to good to pass up . The additional exposure from the media , the stronghold on the gulf Coast South by adding 2 top players from the Mississippi region to the roster and the additional revenue for the team could benefit the franchise incredibly . The exposure could blockbuster into something that would have top name free agents wanting to go to the Saints . |

#1 overall pick
Eli.
Brees might develop into a decent NFL QB, but he won\'t do it in San Diego. He needs a fresh start (not unlike Haslett, who may become a decent NFL coach somewhere else, but not in N.O. where he will never have the respect of his players). |
#1 overall pick
Tough decision for the Chargers.
What they should do is trade down b/c any team that sucks enough to get the #1 pick won\'t help themselves out too much by paying an unproven player $60 million over 8 years. They should trade down and maybe get a WR like Mike Williams, who may fall b/c Roy William\'s stock is skyrocketing, and a QB like Rivers. |
#1 overall pick
Eli - I don\'t think the Chargers wan\'t a repeat of Leaf - Manning again.

#1 overall pick
if i had the #1 pick and i had a need for a franchise QB i would take manning, but i dont think that the chargers have a need for a franchise QB. they have much bigger problems at the WR position and at DE. if i were them, i would trade down and acquire more picks, they have needs all over the field and one player isnt gonna solve them all
\"The Chargers head into April with Adrian Dingle, Omari Hand and Otis Leverette as their three defensive ends on the roster. Not good. The jettisoned Boston had more catches and touchdowns, in an off year no less, than the entire WR corps currently on board in San Diego.\" - By PFW\'s Trent Modglin |
