this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; One of the reasons our offense works so well is because of colston Devery and Meachem don't uncover themselves very well and if Colston left, Jimmy would be doubled every play and Drew would be sat back waiting for devery ...

Devery and Meachem don't uncover themselves very well and if Colston left, Jimmy would be doubled every play and Drew would be sat back waiting for devery and meachem to get open every play which would mean Drew would get hit alot more. Lance moore is great at uncovering himself, but he misses games at a time with hamstring issues, I'd hate to see Colston leave but i'd hate it even more if we didnt address the fact that he left and stuck with the WR's we have. If he did leave we would need to draft or sign somebody, don't expect adrian arrington or even the drafted person to turn into a colston straight away though |

Saints with Colston in the line-up = 28 points/game. Saints without Colston in the line-up = 30 points/game. Not a huge sample size (he missed 10 games) but I thought it was interesting. |
